PMDTec is the world’s leading supplier of integrated circuit (IC) technology for time-of-flight (ToF) imagers. In 2005, after initially focusing on industrial applications, PMDTec began its successful journey into other areas, including the automotive sector, consumer electronics, gaming, security & surveillance, medical technology and life sciences. By 2008, the company had sold over 100,000 PMD sensors.
PMDTec offers state-of-the-art optical wafer and chip testing capabilities. Leveraging our strategic partnerships, we deliver PMD products (ranging from bare dies to packaged imagers) in large quantities.
In addition, we provide our customers & partners with comprehensive, first-rate support for mixed signal chip design (CMOS), digital system design (VHDL), system-on-chip (SoC) integration, development of sensor modules and camera solutions, as well as 3D visualization and image processing.

We are a true leader – a market leader, solutions leader and technology leader. And we hold more than 25 worldwide patents for 3D ToF technology, with a further 40 pending.
