The PMD[vision]® S3 is a universal 3D camera that exceeds all available 3D TOF mass products concerning depth accuracy in combination with a high robustness against background illumination, e.g. sunlight.
The compact IP67 housing with integrated illumination allows acquiring 3D data even in very rough environments - for indoor as well as outdoor applications. As the camera is designed to be a mass product, it is CE certified by standard EN 61326-1: 2006.
In combination with an easy-to-use software development kit (SDK) and the CamVis visualization tool - both are available in the PMD [vision]® S3 starter kit bundle - customers are provided with a ready-to-use hard- and software package for product application development.
